The course for students in Yrs 11/12 covers the age range of 15 – 17 and the date of birth requirements are as set out above. The sponsor’s requirements for these two free sponsored places are applicants with average or above learning ability (to fully participate in the course which involves computer use and using hand tools) with a physical disability to give applicants the opportunity to find out more about the rail industry. The two applicants can be male or female. All costs are covered except for travelling to and from the University of Birmingham.

The latest deadline to receive completed application forms for the two places is 21 June 2019 and the places are available on a first come first served basis regarding receipt of completed applications on line.
