Dear All,

Thank you so much for your replies.

This is a primary aged pupil (Year 5) and school are asking about physical maths equipment (protractors/compasses and so forth).  However I'm very interested in any software also, anything that I can provide the school would be fantastic. I will certainly check out Splash.

Kind Regards

Hi

This is something that I am still doing some research on so anything that people can suggest would be really helpful. We have found these electronic resources :

Manipulatives - MathsBot.com

Math Apps | The Math Learning Center

I also use the old ITP resources as I am that old. Someone has started the process of updating. ITP Calculating Angles - Mathsframe

I also use Mod maths on an iPad for some calculations - not always easy with a PD but if anyone could code something similar, I would like a share of the profits.

This may not be useful for your young person but we are Clicker users and I have done a whole project around using Clicker and Clicker Paint to support maths, particularly calculations. We also use PDF text for worksheets.
