Budget 2020: £30million boost for Changing Places toilets

In March the chancellor announced a £30 million budget for existing buildings wanting to install changing places bathrooms. Does anyone have any further information about this? I am assuming due to Covid it will have been put on the back burner. There is a college in derby that would be interested in accessing the scheme to enable access to 2 young people from Sept 2021.

I have emailed Changing places directly and await a response.

Thanks, Lucy. I would like to hear about your response from Changing Places.

Are you aware of the recent announcement that accessible changing places / hygiene suites will be statutory in new builds?

I will let you know if /when I get a response from changing places. Apparently the staff are all furloughed so responses will be delayed. thank you Ann I didn't know that - about time!

Claire, this funding is for public buildings I believe.
