Hi I have a year 9 looking to pick Art and Design for her GCSE's. She has limited control for detailed work and I am concerned she may lose marks for accuracy etc. Has anyone had any experience of putting in place reasonable adjustments at GCSE ? And how the marking can be adapted accordingly?

Hi Rebecca, I worked with a school that had similar issues a couple of years ago with a youngster not with art but with food technology. The exam board were contacted but weren't very helpful but I contacted the equalities commission who gave us some really good advice which we took back to the exam board and adjustments were made. Hope this is helpful.
