I am looking for any pointers, examples to support a piece of work I am doing. My objective is to produce guidance documents to inform parents and schools in early year’s settings and primary care providers on the possible signs of additional fine or gross motor needs and what to do if this is suspected.

I wondered if any LA's had similar guidance already that I could look at to inform how I develop ours - I don't want to re invent the wheel or miss any useful information out.

Thanks in advance for any support with this.

Hi Julie

In Warwickshire schools are encouraged to use the MOVES programme which was put together by our Physios, OTs and our Learning Support Teachers: South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust :: MOVES programme for schools (swft.nhs.uk)

Interestingly an NAHT colleague has just asked me whether any pdnet members have used Corefulness: https://corefulness.com/nursery-and-schools

Hi Jane,

Thank you for this, we have a programme currwently being researched as part of the Born in Bradford project called Funmoves that I am going to link in with. I haven't seen Corefulness but will be taking a look.

Much appreciated,

Julie
