I am writing to draw your attention to our public consultation concerning the review of post-16 qualifications at level 3 and below in England. We are consulting in two stages, with this first stage closing at 11:45pm on Monday 10<sup>th </sup>June. We are looking first at the principles that should guide the review before moving on in the second stage consultation to detailed proposals for change.
The aim of the review is to ensure that every single qualification approved for public funding is necessary and has a distinct purpose, is high quality and supports progression to positive outcomes, as part of a simplified qualifications landscape.
We are keen to encourage everyone with an interest to respond to the consultation and would of course welcome your input through the online survey.
