This is not PI related but was an exciting find for me yesterday. I have a family who have to rely on their daughter to translate for them and it is a struggle. Their daughter recently received EHCP but parents couldn't understand it. I was also writing my transition notes for her move to Secondary and feeling a little deflated not being able to make myself understood. I used google translate and sentence by sentence translated the notes but it took hours.

However on my next set of notes (because I have a little extra time) I decided to investigate what word 365 can do. AND.....

If you Click on review on the task bar, up pops a translate button that can instantly translate whole or part documents to a vast number of different languages! I was over the moon.

Note of caution though, ensure you translate back and forth, from English to the alternative language, until it makes sense. Somethings are lost in translation but it certainly takes a lot less time checking back and forth than doing sentence for sentence copy and paste from google!
