Hi, I read in the recent meeting minutes that there was a discussion around suitable resources to support young people with fine motor difficulties in Maths. In Essex we recommend (and loan) Splash City software which is excellent. This is word processing for Maths and can be used throughout all Key stages (from year 2) there are primary and secondary school versions. It is a very powerful tool as all functions and activities in Maths can be recorded on a computer - unfortunately (for the young people using it) it does not work out the answers! Splash! Hi

we discussed this at the London and SE Regional meeting and Sue Letley, Specialist Teacher for STLS PD in Kent, shared some training materials she has made for schools.  She is happy for this to be a shared resource which you can see on YouTube https://youtu.be/WP12p-hAHM0 by following this link.  There is no cost, just wanted to share good this helpful resource.
