Hi Rob, I hear what you are saying ... and it could cause confusion... but it is a real word in the 'Urban Dictionary' (not sure if that counts?!). Language around SEN is changing all the time in a progressive way. (eg: toilets being 'accessible'). I like the emphasis on 'different' being positive, and you do have to have a range of different abilities when you have PD (eg: phenomenal resilience/ ability to manage fatigue/ cope with pain/ carry out physio etc etc). I've only broached the name with one teenager so far, and she loved it. I work with a few CYP who really don't like 'disability' as a term, and don't identify with it. Thanks for your thoughts, Emma
