I work with a young boy with an aggressive form of Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy. His function has gone down rapidly over the last year or so and it's looking like he'll be off his feet prior to starting year 5.

The SENCo asked if there were any social stories linked to losing physical capacity that might help talking with him - she's expecting him to question why he's lost his ability to walk.

I've provided some information already and linked her with the local neuromuscular nurse for more ideas - just wondered if anyone has anything that worked particularly well in a similar situation?
