Hi. I just wanted to let people know about the charity Back Up's dedicated services for children and young people (aged 0-24) who have sustained spinal cord injury (through trauma or illness). This support includes:

- education inclusion service where we can visit the school to look at access requirements, deliver workshops/assemblies to staff/students to increase understanding about spinal cord injury (SCI), and support with EHCPs

- multi activity courses for children offering activities such as abseiling, horse riding, as well as delivering wheelchair skills training

- mentoring, where children and young people can chat to and ask questions of a trained mentor similar in age and injury level

- information, advice and guidance around adjusting to and growing up with SCI.
