Hi All, now that we are managed by the Team Lead for HI/VI/MSI we are looking at how we manage our caseload. Previously we have RAG rated to try and identify where most support and intervention is needed. However we have been looking at the HI and VI Support Allocation Matrix (NATSIP) and trying to see how it can be applied to PD to help us plan and manage our caseloads. Many of the criteria can be applied to PD too: C & L levels, Equipment, Environment, SEMH, family needs etc.

Before we attempt to find PD equivalents I wondered whether anyone else has produced something similar please?

Many thanks,

Kelly

Hi

We use an adapted version of the NATSIP which gives us our levels of support.

That sounds really useful Stuart- are you able to share your adapted version of NATSIP matrix?

Hi,

For our PD outreach service we had to go back to contract and even to the commissioners to be very clear on criteria. So for example DCD or hyper-mobility does not qualify as it is classes as a reasonable adjustment. Our criteria is basically a profound physical/cognitive disability. This can be short term support or long term.
