Our team would like to put together some guidance for schools regarding teaching life skills for children with PD. As a starting point, I wondered if anyone has any pointers on where to look for existing material? Many thanks.

Hi

We have found that the AQA Unit Award Scheme is a great vehicle for teaching life skills and also provides a vast range of resources for teaching all subjects within a personalised curriculum.

It costs around £300 to register as a centre and get set up so some schools are reluctant but IPaSS in Hull became a registered centre so that pupils on our caseload can access the scheme and schools only have to pay the annual registration fee of £21.
