(Identifying Appropriate Symbol Communication Aids for Children who are non-speaking)
Research leading to a heuristic to aid all stakeholders in the assessment and provision of communication aids (Manchester and Leeds University, lead by Professor Janice Murray )
With excellent input from Janice Murray and her research team, John Bercow and Brian Lamb, the issues around communication aid choice and provision were discussed and pointers given to the research findings . The website will continue to publish resources and advice as well as the research material .
