Hi

In Oxfordshire we have also used the NATSIP model for HI/VI as well as using a very old copy of the School Functional Assessment for some descriptors to judge level of involvement. We have 20 different criteria some more highly weighted than others such as: experience of TAs, how much specialist equipment a child needs, whether they are transitioning between key stages or settings and family's need for support. We score these and use this as a guide to support from 0 (advice if school seeks it) up to level 3 high support (i.e. 6 plus visits a year). we also keep this loose as things change over the year. A copy is on our local offer see link: https://fisd.oxfordshire.gov.uk/kb5/oxfordshire/directory/service.page?id=Pt3NNmbgPUE see the downloads on right hand side: Eligibility Criteria
