Hi,

We have several large items of equipment within our team that we are unlikely to loan out again to children in schools, but are serviceable for someone who might have a need for them. I had looked at donating to 'Newlifeable' but they no longer accepting donations. Does anyone know of any other charity or has anyone donated items to a charity that we could explore please.

Thanks

Lyn

Cerebra used to accept donations. Also I know that some Conductive Education charities in different areas often accept equipment in good condition.
Good luck,
Jan

Morning Lyn,
What sort of equipment is it? I work for a chairty based in gloucestershire and we are currently in the process of setting up a loan system for disability equipment, for indivudals whilst they are waiting for an assessment, funding or kit. This is our webiste :  http://allsortsglos.org.uk/
Many thanks,

Jess

Hi, what kind of equipment is it? I run a charity that is based in Malawi/Africa and in particular I support a girl there with CP needs.  In the past we managed to get some specialist seating over to Malawi and the difference it made to her life was amazing!

Thanks,

Thank you all for your posts which I will follow up.
The SEND PI specialists at Wilts. Council are trying to streamline the store and equipment we have so the items are mostly specialist chairs( Bambachs, R82s, Jenx) which we need to find a worthy home for.
