Our Wheelchair Skills Training is aimed at young people that are wheelchair users. It is a fun, positive and interactive programme that gives young wheelchair users the skills to be in control of – and get the most out of – their wheelchairs. The Courses are Open to young people aged 2-25 and are run during school time, we aim to offer activities that are relevant to real life and are challenging but achievable. We can obviously tailor the course so that the young people you work with can get the very most out of the course. All that we ask is that you can provide a space to deliver the training in and some members of staff to stay during the session so that they can attend to any care or personal needs the young people may have.
