I have secured a year's contract with the Standards and Testing Agency as an Inclusion Expert for SEND. The remit is to provide independent expertise for the various stages of test development to ensure that Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 national curriculum tests and professional Skills Tests in Literacy and Numeracy are inclusive and accessible for all.

Although this is across SEND and not specifically for PD, if there are any colleagues who have any thoughts about the tests in the above context, (obviously including any PD issues) it would be great if you could kindly let me know at this address: mfishel.305@lgflmail.org

If you work with colleagues with other SEND specialisms, and you have a spare 30 seconds (!), if you could share this request with them, that would be great. I'm hoping to build a picture of current provision to inform change, so while these tests continue to exist, it is important that they are fully inclusive and representative of our whole community in all respects.
