Very similar arrangements here in Derby. Myself and another colleague in the service are trainers and deliver training centrally or bespoke to mainstream schools. The special schools and the PI ERB have in house trainers. Our service paid for the 2 ERB staff members to have their training so they can support us with training when needed.

currently reviewing how we monitor training in school and trying to get more SENCo's to come on the course so they have a better understanding of the TA's handling role and the risk assessment process. How do other areas manage this? Also, do you sign off on the schools risk assessments? if not who does?
