Hi Melanie,

I am a Specialist Teacher for the Physical Disability Team at Buckinghamshire Council. There is myself and my colleague who support mainstream schools to ensure they are fully supporting children who have a physical disability.

Our service doesn't require the child to have an EHCP and it is relatively easy to request our support however, I do feel that lots of schools may not know about us.

Kirsty

Sorry for the delay - I wasn't getting emails for months!  In Essex we are the PNI Specialist Teaching Team and we work alongside VI and HI.  We work from 0-25 in mainstream settings.  VI and HI work in the special schools too...

Hi sorry about the late reply  - in Cornwall we have the Physical and Medical Needs Advisory Service as a part of the wider SENDS Team  - can be contacted at physicalandmedicalneeds@cornwall.gov.uk.  It would be great if possible to get a copy of contact list if this is possible. thanks.
