pdnet is delighted to be working with the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) to develop and deliver a one-day training course for FE professionals who are at the beginning of their learning journey on supporting learners with physical disabilities.

The course will explore physical disability and provide delegates with an understanding of its impact on learning and ways to successfully include and teach a young person with physical disability, whether in a mainstream, specialist or work place setting, so they can take greater ownership of their own learning.

Date: Thursday 30 January 2020

Venue: Chase Hotel, Gloucestershire, GL3 4PB

Cost for SET members: £85

Cost for Non-SET member: £100

Please view the flyer attached for more information and to book your place or go to the ETF booking system.

https://booking.etfoundation.co.uk/go/Physical-disability .

Click the link to download the flyer https://pdnet.org.uk/media/pdnet-ETF-Training-30.01.20.pdf

Please note there are limited spaces available and therefore bookings shall be taken on a first come first serve basis

Free places

Free places are also offered on a first-come-first-served basis to ensure greater diversity on our courses, so to qualify you must either:

  • Work in an organisation in one of the 12 opportunity areas (Blackpool, Bradford, Derby, Doncaster, Fenland and East Cambridgeshire, Hastings, Ipswich, Norwich, Oldham, Scarborough, Stoke, West Somerset)
  • Work in an organisation with an annual turnover of less than £500,000
  • Consider yourself to have a disability
  • Come from a Black, Asian or minority ethnic (BAME) background

Best wishes,

Emma Sheasby
