For those who are staying indoors, most of us I would assume, perhaps this is an opportunity to have, say, regional group meetings through Zoom, Skype, etc.?

Excellent idea.
Personally, I'm busier than ever as we have been redeployed to do other things but I don't think that is necessarily true of all LAs.
