Urgent: Restructure that no longer includes ASTs for Physical & Medical

We are currently going through a re-structure at North Yorkshire. The proposed new Inclusion Service does not include Advisory Support Teachers for Physical Medical (there are currently three of us doing this job part time). We don't have long to submit comments in the hope that this might be reviewed. Any comments/advice or information on other authorities that have done this with the outcome would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Liane Nixon

The LA has to undertake and publish an Equality Impact Assessment which must include consultation with affected groups with related protected characteristics i.e. physically disabled learners and their families. Ask to see this.
