Hi there,

We are looking to run a PD/Sensory day for our learners at the weekend. We've found a school with a changing space/bed. I wondered if anyone had any tips/success with hiring a hoist for a day that the parents could use with their child (assuming they have a sling in situ). Many thanks, Kate

Hi Kate - This sounds exciting!

In the past, we have used a Warwickshire based company, Multicare,  for the hire of hoists.  They deliver nationwide and their customer service has always been excellent.

Hope this helps and good luck with your weekend.

Hi Kate

You need to be very sure that all the slings are compatible with the hoist

Thank you all. I wondered if anyone had bought their own foldable hoist for events and/or loaned them to school for school trips?  (rather than hiring)
