The Education Secretary, Gavin Williamson, gave evidence to the Education Select Committee on

Wednesday 29 April 2020 about the effects of Covid-19 on education and children’s services. The transcript is here: https://committees.parliament.uk/oralevidence/325/pdf/ On p25/26 there is an exchange (Q114) mentioning the DfE’s ongoing SEND review, as well as a concern about schools receiving Outstanding judgements from Ofsted even if their SEND provision has deficiencies.

There is a recording of this session here: https://parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/0aa3b915-6d60-4469-8b59-4d2f49dc6fbf

Also, the Public Accounts Committee have published a report on their inquiry into SEND provision, which can be downloaded here: https://committees.parliament.uk/work/35/support-for-children-with-special-educational-needs-and-disabilities/publications/
