Hi Sarah

I have contacted  https://littlepeopleuk.org/  charity which is run by Warwick Davis and his family. They sent me links and Sam Davis has spoken to me directly to give suggestions. They also offer a loan service for chairs.

One of her suggestions that her son has used is a foam base which can be added to the chair to raise the height. I would recommend emailing them and asking for their advice.

Can I just ask - how does your pupil move around the secondary school? A Segway scooter has been suggested for my pupil - he is only in Year 5 now so we will be looking at our options from October for next year.

Thanks Nicky,

having a Segway scooter would be fun and useful, i will suggest it. When the  young person first went to the school they used a regular scooter to get around successfully. They YP is about to move to a smaller secondary school and they will be able to get around the site well with the use of lifts to save on the stair climbing.

I will contact the charity for ideas and ask about the loan chairs, thank you.
